Devin's Birthday!

Last month we celebrated Devin's first birthday. For his birthday trip, we took him to the local pool. It had been awhile since he had been swimming but we knew he loved water and would enjoy it. At first, he didn't know quite what to think....

But he soon warmed up to the idea and LOVED it...

Devin loved the decorations and balloons we had displayed around the house.

One of the games we played was "pin the birthday hat on Devin". 

My handsome birthday boy stopped playing with his balloon for a minute to check out his cake...

He really didn't do much eating.  Instead, he massaged the cake and icing.

And he was willing to share his blue icing...

But decided the entire process was rather exhausting!

After so much practice opening presents on Christmas, he knew jsut what to do with his gifts!

I just can't believe that my baby boy is one!!
