Here are some pics of our latest project - THE KITCHEN! Probably the last room in the house to get some famous Solis TLC.

You saw the new opening between the dining and kitchen. That was step 1.

Step 2: Remove the top cabinets.

Step 3: Remove the lovely "fake" bricks...one by one!

Step 4: Keep everything in your dining room - on a temporary shelf, on the table, on the floor in boxes...whatever works.

Step 5 - the "bricks" are gone. Finish the drywall and paint!

Step 6 - stop and have some fun with the new boxes! This is "row, row, row your baby..."

Step 6 - Crown molding prep.

Step 7 - My new wall cabinets are on the floor here - getting ready to be put together before hanging. NOTE: I do NOT have a sink or a dishwasher! Yikes!

Step 9: Light at the end of the tunnel....One hanging cabinet on the back wall. When all is said and done, we will also now have cabinets against the ladder wall in this picture. We also have a new stove in our front living room. This white unit will be finding a new home in our condo this summer.
