Braden and Ryan both have loved being outside over the past few weeks. Both boys follow Tony around when he mows...but I thought this was too cute...Below, Braden is "priming" his mower - something we didn't teach him but that he observed and copied...

May - Part 2
Here is the second part of May.....in no particular order.

We've spent many mornings catching frogs with friends...
Braden checking out our baby frog...if you look closely, you can see him at the bottom...
More frogs....
This picture is on FB too, but I love it...Papa is mowing and his little ducklings follow him around...
Another one of my favorite pics....can you tell this guy LOVES water??
Earlier in the month, we toured a few of the participating farms in the Spring Farm Tour. One of the farms had a long hay ride. We had to take turns with Braden as he got rather restless.
Hmmmm.....this picture is sideways but you get the idea...Ryan collected some fresh eggs from the chickens. They tasted SO good!
Feeding the chickens...
We spent one morning at Lake Anne and had visitors join us for lunch. At first the boys were excited to see the geese. As they got closer, however, the boys didn't quite know what to think...
More Lake Anne....
On the last day of school, the children had a Luau party. Ryan wore his Carribean outfit and his BF Carley wore a grass skirt. So cute!
On the last day of school, the classroom was decorated with many beach activities for the kids including a sand table, shells, marine toy animals and a game of limbo. This is Ryan and his teachers, Mrs. O'Connor and Mrs. Spradlin....
Following the last day of school, I organized an End-of-the-Year Party/Play Date with cake for the children and their families. One of the other moms brought a project for the kids to work on. Carley and Ryan worked on their craft together...
Ryan and some of his preschool friends....
We were excited to go visit Beth and Landen in Roanoke for their joint birthdays. We traveled down on Friday afternoon, spent Saturday with them and came back on Sunday morning. Beth did a great job organizing the party and her "baby" boy LOVED his cake...(and this picture is only after the first 5 minutes!)
