Holiday Prep

Traditions are at the heart of the holidays. Since holiday decorating is one of Tony's favorite winter activities, we have always started our Christmas decorating the weekend following Thanksgiving.

Christmas prep begins with unpacking all of the boxes from the atic and is soon followed by strings of lights around the living room. When it comes to light troubleshooting, it is my personal tradition to disappear and let Tony deal with the frustration of mini-light bulbs and electricity.
A trip to the Lovettsville tree farm is always next on the agenda.

Followed by setting up the tree....

Tony does the roof climbing and light hanging...
While Ryan and I shop for fun new decorations and play in the leaves :-)

All in all, it is several days of work. Let the holidays begin....
